QUALITY WORKFLOW SOLUTIONS BUILT IN AUTELROBOTICS

Mapping

Traditional pre-construction surveys and site topography may be slow, expensive, and can stand in the way of rapid decision-making processes. With UAV topographic maps and 3D models, stakeholders can visualize, plan, make informed decisions and take decisive action. Autonomous flight allows for repeated flights that may be layered to determine changes in the work site and provide comparisons over time. Paired with the auto-gridding feature found in the Autel Explorer™ software, the Autel mapping solution provides efficient mission planning and execution. The resulting data can be evaluated through a variety of post-flight analytic, modeling, mapping, or stitching software tools.

The metadata contained in images captured with the Autel Evo™ II Pro derives its information from multiple satellite constellations. This data, when coupled with various geo-mapping solutions, provides high quality relative accuracy useful for creating DTM, DEM, ortho’s, and other tools that provide benefit to a broad variety of stakeholders. Combined with an RTK or PPK station on the ground, the accuracy dramatically increases, providing highly accurate measureables. These processes save significant time, increasing profitability, safety, information exchange, BIM data, input to industry standard civil engineering software tools such as Revit™ Bentley, 4MSA, ArchiCAD™ ARCGIS™ and many other applications.

THERMAL

Thermal imaging offers an ability to see heat reflection from objects or living beings, animal or human. Thermal imaging often allows a sensor to “look back in time” and see heat signatures from objects or persons who are no longer in place.

There are two primary types of thermal imaging; non-radiometric and radiometric. Radiometric thermal cameras display a thermal image and provide temperature measurements. Nonradiometric thermal cameras display a thermal image only. Both types of sensor allow for thermal imaging in any environment for non-contact imaging of industrial and scene-specific capture of critical data.

The Autel Evo™ II Dual uses the non-radiometric FLIR Boson 686 Core designed for public safety, firefighting, security, automotive, maritime, hunting, UAS, and the military. This system allows for advanced image processing at the UA level, enabling users to see crystal clear imagery from high altitudes/long distances away compared to other cameras in a similar price range. Users appreciate the multiple palettes available, for precise image analysis in any environment. The Autel Evo™ II Dual offers 8X zoom, with lossless zoom up to 4X, using proprietary image processing functions. The Evo™ II Dual also offers Picture in Picture display, with the thermal image displaying over the visible light/RGB image with pixel-matched accuracy. Picture in Picture may be displayed natively on the 3.3” Remote Control display (zoom cannot be applied in Remote Control display).

RAPID DEPLOYMENT

Autel Robotics has long been a first choice among public safety and emergency services due to ability for rapid deployment, with no authorizations required from an overseas company that slow down or prevent operations in critical environments.

MISSION PLANNING

Autel Explorer™ software system enables users to efficiently and consistently plan for orthomapping, 3D scans and crop data imagery, planned either in the field or offsite. These plans maybe stored for repeatable, recallable aerial flight paths, without requiring expensive third party software, cloud connections, or LTE connections.

DATA SECURITY

Autel believes data should be controlled exclusively by the pilot. Autel Evo II series do not connect to the internet nor LTE in order to be operable* and many pilots may fly with or without a mobile device. (*A mobile device is required for mission planning.)

AUTOMATED FLIGHT CONTROL

Autel Explorer’s™ mission planner auto-generates survey paths with user-defined frontlap/sidelap, and cross-hatching for precision 3D or large format image output. Users may define a survey resolution via altitude or inch-per-pixel decisions, providing a platform that is capable of flight even in low or high-altitude scenarios. Obliques for mapping imagery, or waypoint planning may be planned, stored, flown, and recalled on an Android™ or iOS device.

3.3-INCH BUILT-IN SCREEN

Autel’s remote control has a 3.3” OLED integrated viewing screen, allowing for rapid deployment in environments where mobile devices are not optimal for instant deployment. The screen and remote offer up to four hours of battery life and may be charged on the fly or during operations using the two USB ports enabling the remote controller to run for days at a time. The 300 nit screen and remote may easily be folded and carried in a cargo pant pocket, backpack, or camera case for convenience.
