Q: What is the maximum flight time of the aircraft?
The maximum flight time is 36 minutes
Q: What propellers are equipped?
Low-Noise Propellers.
Q: What is the main difference between RTK series products and other EVO II series products?
Unlike the other EVO II series aircraft, the EVO II RTK is epuipped with a high-precision RTK positioning and navigation system.
Q: What is the effective image transmission range of the RTK Series?
In an open area that is unobstructed and free of interference, the FCC standard is 9 km and the CE standard is 5 km. (2.4GHz)
Q: In real-time mapping, can the aircraft continue mapping while the image transmission signal is lost?
If the image transmission signal is lost now and then, the aircraft will be able to continue mapping after reconnecting.
Q: Is the remote controller of the RTK series compatible with the other EVO II products?
Yes.
Q: What is the screen size and resolution of the remote controller?
The remote controller offerts a built-in 3.26-inch 854×480p ultra-bright touch screen.
Q: How long does it take to fully charge the remote controller?
It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the controller.
Q: How long is the battery life of the ground station?
The battery life is 3 hours.
Q: How does one place the antenna of the remote controllor?
Align the antenna cut surface with the aircraft.
Q: Which RTK base station modes are currently supported?
The A-RTK base station is currently supported.
Q: What is the RTK positioning accuracy?
1 cm + 1 ppm (horizontal), 1.5 cm + 1 ppm (vertical)
Q: Does the RTK series support PPK technology?
Yes.
Q: What is the difference between PPK and RTK mode and how to choose?
Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) and Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) are both centimeter-level positioning systems; RTK is recommended when users have high requirements for convenience and real-time operation, and there is a network communication link in the survey area. If the user does not require real-time performance or is in an environment with a poor network communication, then the PPK post-processing method can be used.
Q: Which one is the position recorded in the photo? The center of the antenna or the center of the camera ?
The center of the camera.
Q: Does the EVO II RTK series provide measurements in relative coordinates or absolute coordinates?
The measurement coordinates given by the EVO II RTK are absolute coordinates.
Q: Is the gimbal replaceable?
Yes. The product adopts a modular design, allowing for the payload to be replaced as needed.
Q: What is the difference between EVO II RTK series cameras and other EVO II series cameras?
EVO II Pro RTK and EVO II Pro cameras are all equipped with a 1 inch 20 MP CMOS sensor; the hardware of 640T RTK and 640T camera are the same, and are equipped with 640*512 thermal imaging sensor and 1/2 inch 48 MP CMOS sensor.
Q: Does the aircraft support lossless zoom?
It can achieve 4x lossless zoom.
Q: What types of shooting formats does the camera support?
Pro RTK visible light camera — Photo format: JPG/DNG, video format: MOV/MP4;
640T RTK visible light camera — Photo format: JPG/DNG, video format: MOV/MP4;
640T RTK infrared camera — Photo format: JPG/TIFF, video format: MOV/MP4;
Q: Does EVO II Dual 640T RTK support temperature measurement?
Yes. It provides a temperature analysis tool IR PC TOOL.
Q: What is the battery capacity?
7100mAh, 11.55V, 82Wh. The battery is the same as EVO II series and can be used universally.
Q: How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
It takes about 90 minutes to fully charge each battery.
Q: How does one maintain the battery?
The battery should be stored in a dry, ventilated and cool environment, away from fire, high temperature and flammable materials. Do not place the battery in an environment that may increase the temperature of the battery, such as in a hot or sunny environment or inside a car exposed to sunlight. During long-term storage, the power should be more than two grids, and the storage should be charged and discharged once for more than three months to maintain battery activity.
Q: Can the battery be used in low-temperature environments?
When the battery is used in a low-temperature environment, note that the battery life will be reduced. To optimize performance in the cold, it is recommended to warm the battery up to 15 °C before use.
Q: Can the battery be carried onto a boarding airplane?
The capacity of the battery is 82Wh and can be carried on board airplanes according to airline regulations.
Q: How do I update the firmware?
Method 1:
1. Before upgrading, please make sure that the aircraft, ground station, and base station are all turned on and that linking is successful.
2. Copy the new firmware downloaded from the Autel official website to a USB flash drive. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the ground station. A dialog box will pop up on the ground station screen to prompt the firmware upgrade. Follow the instructions to complete the firmware upgrade.
Method 2:
1. Before upgrading, please make sure that the aircraft, ground station, and base station are all turned on and that linking is successful.
2. When the ground station is connected to the network, if the firmware needs to be upgraded, the ground station will automatically detect the new firmware and prompt the user to download; after completing the download as prompted, click "Upgrade" and wait for the operation page to prompt "Firmware Upgrade Complete".
Q: What apps are supported by the EVO II RTK series?
Currently only the Autel Explorer App (Android & IOS version) is supported.
Q: Which industries can the aircraft be applied to?
It can be applied to many fields such as power line inspections, fire rescue, police law enforcement, surveying and mapping, and so on.
