You Won’t Believe How We Tested the EVO II’s Stability

When it comes to piloting your drone, stability can mean the difference between a smooth, carefree glide and wrestling with your controller as your aircraft bucks wildly at the slightest breeze.

That’s why the masterminds at Autel Robotics pulled out all the stops to make sure the EVO II was able to keep a level head (so to speak) under any conditions.

Instead of putting the EVO II in a wind tunnel and cranking up the fans to full blast, we decided to test the upper limits of the aircraft’s capabilities in a more nontraditional way: By chopping off its propellers and seeing if it still flies.

Check out our premiere episode of “Can You Even EVO?” to see if our drone (and our new hire Evan) survives the experience.
